PROMISE FULFILLED

A dreamer of dreams of things not yet seen, seers of visions of love in between
The heaven and earth from His hands given birth, lost men given worth in their tongues do they glean
A helper promised before though unseen through the door entered into their realm to dwell within them
Words of power and grace as they stand in that place, the third hour, great day
tongues of fire move and they sway, forever may He reign

I will forfeit my spirit and unworthy men will draw near, from tongues of flame all did hear it proclaimed
That almighty God's Son is here although beaten and slain by the wicked
Unknowingly doing His will lifted high on His right hand sitteth by halleluiah, the promise fulfilled

And so from that place filled with boldness and grace with men from afar did they come face to face
Shouting wonders not known to the crowd that had grown each one hearing his own they all marveled amazed

The helper promised before though unseen by the score entered into their realm to dwell within them
And though it quite strange that with every exchange sons and daughters proclaimed
tongues of fire move and they sway forever may He reign
